We use ultrasound scanning to identify musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. I can now offer a scan of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, knee, ankle and foot. Ultrasound scan is very good to diagnose many injuries and conditions, for example:
- shoulder rotator cuff injuries including tears and impingement syndrome
- tennis and golfers elbow
- carpal tunnel syndrome
- plantar fasciitis
- tendinopathy
- tendons injuries
- inflammation in soft tissues around joints
- Baker’s cyst
Patients can now receive a diagnostic ultrasound scan as part of an initial physiotherapy assessment in our clinic in Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh.
