Physiotherapy For Elderly – How to arrange?

STEP 1

Book an initial appointment to include therapy

A Chartered Physiotherapist will carry out the very first session. Based on the initial assessment, we will make recommendations as to the next best step and what would be most beneficial to you therapy-wise. The visit takes up to 60 minutes. You can book physiotherapy for yourself or your relative by calling our clinic on 02382182416.

STEP 2

Receive a follow – up appointment(s)

If you decide to continue therapy, you will receive visits from either a physiotherapist or physiotherapy assistant. We will provide you with the full schedule of calls, including dates and times. Visits last 30 or 45 minutes.

STEP 3

Receive a review visit

A senior chartered physiotherapist will be seeing you at regular intervals to review your progress and discuss your needs. Review visits last 30 or 45 minutes.

Elderly Physiotherapy – Unbeatable Value

We offer unbeatable value for money, with prices starting from as low as £40.00 per session. We simply want to make it as affordable to patients as possible.

Elderly Physiotherapy – Assessment of Balance, Gait, Transfers and Strenght

During your initial assessment we may use various tests to check your balance and strenght. You may need to complete several tasks that will be measured by a physiotherapist. This will give us an idea of your current level of mobility and help us set up an exercise program for you.  One of the tests that we use is called 5 x SST; you will be asked to stand up 5 times from the sitting position as demonstrated in the video below.
