Marek is a chartered physiotherapist (HCPC and CSP registered), independent prescriber (IP), and musculoskeletal sonographer – a member of both the British Medical Ultrasound Society and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. Marek completed studies in ultrasound guided injections for joints and soft tissues at the University of Essex. He also completed intensive studies in myoskeletal therapy. He treats patients with spinal, joint and muscle injuries including sports injuries.

Saulius evaluates ultrasonographically more than 100 patients with various MSK pathologies weekly. He has co-authored two textbooks and more than 16 peer-reviewed articles on ultrasound. MD Saulius Rutkauskas is a member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR), and an invited lecturer of SOMT University of Physiotherapy (Amersfoort/NL). MD Saulius Rutkauskas is also an speaker and tutor of ESSR annual meetings and Ultrasound Outreach courses.
