The concept of the craniosacral system, its pathological significance and healing capabilities, was first recognized over 50 years ago.
This concept of dynamic activity involves cranial bones, meningeal membranes, cerebrospinal fluid, the intracranial vascular system, the movement of body fluids and the function of total body connective tissues.
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a fantastic way of improving the functioning of the central nervous system. It can help to eliminate the negative effects of stress, strenghten resistance to disease, and enhance overall health. Craniosacral therapy is extremely helpful for newborns, providing help with any sleep issues, colic, other feeding challenges, and overall development. In adults, CST may help with muscle pains, spinal and joint alignments, headaches, jaw pain, and many neurological conditions.
